A Lifeline for Twic East – Saving Lives Through Emergency Medical Transport

Access to emergency healthcare in Twic East, South Sudan, remains a critical challenge due to poor road infrastructure, long distances to hospitals, and a severe shortage of ambulances. Many lives are lost unnecessarily because patients cannot reach medical facilities in time.

To address this urgent need, TECAE launched the Emergency Ambulance Initiative, a life-saving project aimed at providing reliable emergency medical transport to communities in Twic East.
