Access to emergency healthcare in Twic East, South Sudan, remains a critical challenge due to poor road infrastructure, long distances to hospitals, and a severe shortage of ambulances. Many lives are lost unnecessarily because patients cannot reach medical facilities in time.
To address this urgent need, TECAE launched the Emergency Ambulance Initiative, a life-saving project aimed at providing reliable emergency medical transport to communities in Twic East.
Since its launch, the initiative has transported over [X] emergency cases, including maternal health emergencies and accident victims.
TECAE aims to expand the fleet and establish more emergency response centers across Twic East.
