Supporting Vulnerable Members of the Twic East Diaspora

Many Twic East community members in Europe face challenges such as financial hardship, social isolation, and difficulties accessing essential services. TECAE’s Welfare Programs provide critical support to ensure no one is left behind.

How TECAE Implements the Program

  1. Financial Assistance & Crisis Relief

    • Emergency funds for families facing sudden hardships (e.g., medical bills, funeral costs).

    • Food and housing support for refugees and struggling households.

  2. Educational Support

    • Scholarships & school fee assistance for children of low-income families.

    • Book and uniform donations to ease the burden on parents.

  3. Elderly & Disability Support

    • Monthly check-ins and social activities to combat loneliness.

    • Mobility aid donations (wheelchairs, walking sticks) for those with disabilities.

  4. Legal & Integration Assistance

    • Free legal advice on immigration, residency, and employment rights.

    • Language & job training to help new arrivals integrate successfully.
